Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support our team in delivering best-in-class audience development / social media campaigns for our clients. The role is designed to be entry level and suitable for passionate music or media graduates who are looking for a career in the music industry. The successful applicant will be offered support and the opportunity to learn the skills required to be a client-facing Channel Manager at Dark Arts.

The job is multifaceted, requiring excellent copywriting, diligence and organisation skills, deep platform knowledge, ideas, creativity and a strategic mindset. Content is central to our work so skills with video production and asset creation are a must. You will be working across an enviable roster of high profile music industry clients each with a different approach and strategic goals. It is a fast paced, demanding, rewarding and fun job at the frontline of the modern music industry.

You will need your own laptop and up-to-date smartphone. We work remotely so you must be able to work from home.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and delivering campaigns for social media and other digital platforms

  • Writing, editing and posting across multiple platforms

  • Creating / editing visual assets (video and static)

  • Optimisation of digital platforms and assets

  • Monitoring of client and related accounts, trends and innovations

  • Building stat reports and data analysis

  • Community management

  • Online research

You have experience of working in the music industry or with artists

You are diligent with excellent organisation and communication skills

You are a passionate music fan

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent spoken and written English

  • Relevant experience managing social / digital channels within music

  • Image and video editing skills

  • Methodical with a keen eye for detail

  • Self motivated with the ability to find and create content

  • Effective communicator and team player

  • A good sense of humour

  • Passionate about music and the future of the music industry
